If you've noticed new restaurants popping up around Spring Hill this year but can't picture them all fitting into one trip, that's because they don't. Every new opening in 2026 has landed on a different stretch of Main Street, a mile or more from the last one, and the next big addition sits even farther out than that. Spring Hill isn't filling in one growing food district. It's opening a new one every time, then moving on to the next intersection.
That's worth knowing if you're tired of guessing which end of town to drive to on a Friday night. It's worth knowing even more if you want to understand what's actually happening to this town's center of gravity, because "Main Street" now describes at least three separate destinations that don't share so much as a parking lot.
Three Corners, Three Different Eras
Spring Hill's restaurant growth isn't one story. It's three, each tied to a different address along Main Street, and each representing a different point in the town's history.
The Crossings: Where Spring Hill Learned to Eat Out
The Crossings of Spring Hill, anchored by Target and Kohl's at 1001 Crossings Blvd, is the oldest and most familiar cluster. This is where you'll find Olive Garden, O'Charley's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cracker Barrel, Panda Express and Firehouse Subs, plus a movie theater and a Hampton Inn within walking distance. It's the version of Spring Hill's dining scene that's been around the longest. It's also, tellingly, the one node with no new restaurant openings turning up in this year's local coverage. The Crossings isn't shrinking, it's just not where the growth is happening right now, which makes it the baseline every newer stretch of Main Street gets measured against.
Belshire Village Is Getting a Second Act
A few minutes south, the older Belshire Village strip is having a moment it hasn't had in years. El Molcajete Mexican Restaurant opened at 3020 Belshire Village Drive in May 2026, giving the chain its third Middle Tennessee location after Springfield and Manchester. A few doors down, Whataburger is trying again to land a location in Spring Hill. The chain had site approval back in 2022 for the old Burger King building on Highway 31 and walked away from it before breaking ground. Its new attempt targets a different empty building nearby, the former KFC at 3004 Belshire Village Drive on the southwest corner of Belshire and Highway 31, and this time the ask is smaller.
"Whataburger is requesting very minimal changes to the building," Spring Hill Mayor Matt Fitterer told News 2.
The proposal also adds a pedestrian sidewalk and crosswalk along Belshire Way, a small detail that says something about how the city expects this stretch to function going forward. Belshire Village was built for cars pulling straight into a lot. A crosswalk suggests planners expect more foot traffic moving between buildings than the original strip was designed for.
Miles Johnson Parkway Is the Newest Address in Town
Keep heading south on Main Street and you reach the newest of the three, Miles Johnson Parkway. Aubrey's opened here at 3091 Miles Johnson Pkwy in February 2025, marking the first location outside East Tennessee for a chain whose other 14 locations had all stayed in the Knoxville area. As of this year, it's sitting on a 4.2-star rating across 79 reviews, the kind of early track record that tends to get noticed by other chains scouting their next Middle Tennessee stop. Farther along the same corridor, at 4910 Main Street, Tower 31 has been serving breakfast through dinner since early 2024 in a building that previously housed Mac's Grill and, before that, Pig N' Pit. Owner Nathan Smith, who moved to Spring Hill from California, built the menu around the idea that "many are from California" among his regulars, and the restaurant even keeps a dog menu. It's proof this stretch of Main Street has been quietly cycling through concepts for a while, well before this year's wave gave it a name.

Sprouts Farmers Market is set to anchor a new development called Port Royal Marketplace, at the intersection of Port Royal Road and Duplex Road, a location that isn't close to any of the other three nodes. At roughly 23,000 square feet, it's built for the chain's usual layout: fresh produce at the center, bulk foods, a full-service deli, vitamins and a butcher counter, a footprint closer to a specialty grocer than a full supercenter. Construction is expected to begin in 2026 with an opening targeted for 2027, so this corner is one to watch take shape, not one to visit yet.
If the pattern holds, Port Royal and Duplex won't just get a grocery store. It'll likely pull its own small cluster of restaurants and shops around it, the same way Belshire Village and Miles Johnson Parkway did before it.
The Rhythms That Don't Move, No Matter Which Corner You're On
While the restaurant map keeps shifting, a handful of weekly habits have stayed fixed regardless of which end of Main Street is closest to you.
